"The building is easily accessible by wheelchair. The clients gather in many different rooms and enjoy taking part in a wide choice of activities.
The staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and they ensure that all the clients feel welcome and safe. There is always a warm atmosphere with lots of laughter in the rooms.
Lunchtime is great fun as the clients sit, chat and socialise with one another while the staff ensure that they are available if needed. Jamats is definitly the most enjoyable time of my working week!"

"My son Bradley has been a member of Jamats since June 2024. He absolutely loves going, he does 5 days a week and only asked to stay home if unwell, so that in itself speaks volumes! The time, activities and opportunities that goes in to each day is second to none. Communication is fantastic!

"Jamats is an amazing safe place for people with learning disabilities and additional needs.
My sister Teri has been attending for around a year and she loves it. She has become more confident and Jamats is her time where she can flourish and develop new friendships.
The staff at Jamats are amazing but more importantly they are kind and really care about the individuals who attend. Jamats is also very flexible and try to accommodate individual needs.
I would say Jamats is a fantastic day service and would recommend it to anyone who needs this kind of service. 🤗🙂"
